Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro

Last year during Alcatraz Security's continued quest for the best computer security software, we were introduced to a company in St.Petersburg, Russia called Agnitum. We called them and had them give us an overview on what they're doing with security technology (they speak great English). What we discovered may have been the best software firewall in production today. In this review we follow up with Agnitum's new Outpost Firewall Pro.

Agnitum Outpost Pro offers multiple custom installation options, that include automatically creating firewall rules or letting you determine the rules. This can be a great ease of administration of the firewall.

It also offers a plug-in called "Quick Tune" that is a small utility that intergrates with Internet Explorer to secure interactive elements behavior management such as Active X, scripts, and applets.
